We usually begin our service with a song led by the worship team. The music that we sing covers a wide range of style. We believe that it is important to cherish great songs from the past while at the same time singing new songs to the Lord. So we will sing some of the best and newest Christian songs as well as hymns that are hundreds of years old.
After the first music set, we have a member of the church welcome everyone to church through scripture and prayer.
Following the welcome there will be another music set of songs that point to the Gospel message of Christ as as savior and our love for Him. We are also a multicultural church and may have parts of worship in other languages (Palauan, Samoan, Tongan, Kenyan) . Typically, after this second set we will take an offering.
After the offering Pastor Willie or a guest speaker will preach a sermon from God’s Word. The sermon will typically have some very practical application for the congregation.
We usually end our services by giving a brief update on events and other exciting opportunities occurring in the life of the congregation. The service is concluded with prayer.
For those who are looking for meaningful relationships and a practical teaching time, we encourage you to show up at 10:00 for our Sunday morning adult bible study. The Bible is an incredible book of history and facts that proves that there is a God that created all things. Most important of all, the Bible is the Word of God. It contains the mind of God and His will for each one of our lives. That is why the Bible was given to us. Lets study it together!
We celebrate the Lord's Supper together on the first Sunday of each month. All followers of Jesus are invited to join us. The juice and bread that we share represent the blood and body our Savior gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
Each week we have a financial offering. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. This offering is an act of worship for our regular attenders to continue the Gospel ministry.
Our church nursery (infants and toddlers - up to 3 years old) is available to all parents during the church service at 11:00 a.m., but you are also welcome to keep your children with you in the auditorium. We also have a Cry Room available for fussy or nursing children inside the auditorium.
Every first and third Sunday of the month, Children in preschool through 2nd grade start out with their parents in our worship service. Midway through they are dismissed to Children’s Church, where they have age-appropriate lessons and activities.
Child safety is a top priority at UBC and all our workers have completed a certified background check.
We average about 80 at our Sunday worship service.
We’d love to answer any additional questions you might have. Please call the church office, or send us an email.
